We loved silk: smooth, cool, kind to skin. But it's pricey, fragile, and can't be machine washed — so it sat unused. Cotton was the fallback, and it ran warm, creased our faces, and tugged at our hair.

Lyocell could do both — silk-soft and washable. But almost everything out
there was woven at 40–60 count: too coarse to feel like silk.

So we went looking for finer.

We landed on 100S — an ultra-fine Lyocell, denser and smoother, far closer to real silk. Then we certified it to OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, because a surface your skin rests on for eight hours should be tested, not just marketed.

And because it begins as a plant, the fabric that's gentle on your skin is gentle in how it's made — woven in a closed loop that reuses most of its water, and shipped in FSC-certified boxes.

We didn't set out to make a pillowcase. We set out to make the hours your body repairs itself a little better.
